@cl: FS found out that the problem actually is the show window, which
instantiates a full-blown drawing layer view for this window, and, in turn,
causes the form control to actually produce a living window, too, when in live
mode. I'd say let's dump the drawing layer view alltogether, AFAIK this is
old-slideshow legacy, anyways.
