This issue is invalid. It is not OOo that behaves wrong, but the application
used to view the pdf doesn't support transparency/alpha channel.
Try with acrobat reader and you get a proper display.
There exists a RFE already to remove the transparency from the PDF. Thus I mark
this one as duplicate.
In the meantime:
* use a PDF-viewer capable of transparency
* don't use transparent images
* set up a PDF-"printer" using ghostscript. ((The intermediate Postscript-format
doesn't support transparceny, so the PDF won't either -> no problem with the
PDF-viewers)
