I've been able to rename slide two time, and ich crashes the third time. Not sure about other systems - I'll check tonight. BTW - I'm using the original m104 from the OOo site. Oh - one other thing that also happens on a friend's system: When you have, say, three master slides and you rename the third one, OOo actually changes the name of the *first* slide in the list. The same is true when you apply changes in layout to the third master slide: Then again, the layout in the *first* (original) one changes as well.
