I just click on the top >left corner of the target are and select "Paste". Yes, but this mode of operation is not very exact. If some of the target cells that will be affected by the paste op, some kind of algorithm seems to automatically skip the cells which already contains data, and just continue with the next one. There should at least be an option for the user to overwrite the old cell values in this case? >Hmm. The problem with this suggestion is multiple ranges. >If you mark one area, hold the Ctrl key pressed and mark another range somewhere >else on the sheet, what should OOo display then? The total number of cells? I think it should only show the current/last selected range, just to know the size while dragging select area rectangle across large areas. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
