Ok, yes... that's my bad, I didn't realize that was the way to do it. Wouldn't
You say that it would be more intuitive to have a "ignore spelling" check box
"like in  Word"(TM) ;).

Or, at least make character styles like Source Text & Variable set to [None]
language by default. I think this should be done as an easy, short term fix as
most people that are clever enough to use these character styles won't have to
hunt down the [None] in the language setting... I think I'm pretty handy with
OOo but didn't find it myself ;).
