------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 27 07:56:03 -0700 2005 ------- I am migrating a user to OOo and have had 100% repeatable crashes of their system (often hanging X entirely) when OOo tries to display a slide (or even the preview image in the slide navigator at left) from an imported Powerpoint presentation that includes hyperlinked objects (in this case, images). In creating the document in PowerPoint, the user had gone to a web page and had somehow pasted links to the images instead of pasting copies of the images. Even after exporting the document into OOo Open Document Presentation (ODP) format, the system would still freeze when attempting to display the page that had the hyperlinked images. I deleted just the linked images from the Powerpoint presentation (which also contains many other locally-sourced images) using Powerpoint on Windows, and then imported them again and the problem disappeared. I guess it is possible that this bug also affects other OOo components too, and it would be worthwhile testing to see. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
