The OOo build finished successfully. I committed a slightly changed version
of the patch to dmake43p01. Now dmake issues something like this:
dmake: Executing shell macro: <command>
for every use of a $(shell <command>) function macro.
Note: You can silence this verbosity by using "@", i.e. $(shell @<command>).
