Text was copied from Mozilla-1.7.7 mail using mouse drag. I confirmed the source text has no special characters. just spaces 0x20 and newlines 0x0A. There is a pattern to When this occurs. 1. any series of spaces greater than one between text characters. (this is probably ok, as designed) 2. the last line before the 0A. here is the problem. Mozilla is configured to wrap lines, so a large paragraph shows as several lines. Only the last line between the last wrap (soft CRLF) and the end of paragraph 0A has EVERY space turned into a hard space. Thus making the last line a solid block, requiring editing. Interesting, if I only drag copy the last line, avoiding the 0A completely, and even the first character in the line, it is still pasted as a single block with hard spaces. If I drag copy a single space, it is either pasted as a hard space (if on the last line) or Not pasted at all (if before a soft wrap). Further this only happens from mail.
