Formatting with printer metrics should only be used for backwards compatibility.
The reformatting when the printer or printer settings are changed was not to
everybodies liking...
The exported PDF does not contain "Sans Serif Scalable", probably because it
could not be embedded or subsetted. Can you have a look in the Window's Fonts
folder (Start->Control->Settings->Fonts) and check, what symbol is shown next to
"Sans Serif Scalable"?
This problem might be related to issue 48071.
