------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jun 14 15:31:54 -0700 2005 ------- I had long been told that the inability to properly import "Greek" text and bullets from MS Word was an OOo-wide issue, but this seems to the the only relevant issue in IssueZilla, so perhaps this is a Mac-only issue. When OOo imports MS Word documents, the Greek symbols turn into boxes (as do some of the bullets) and changing fonts (eg. OpenSymbol) does nothing to make them readable (i.e., they are being imported with the wrong codepoints assigned). Attached is an MS Word 2001 (shares file format with Word 97/2000/XP) document with some lines of text in Greek and also an outline; the first-level bullet appears as a box (as does all of the Greek text).
