The exact same download is working find on Windows-XP, so the downloaded binary
is OK. Also I downloaded the latest build (1.9m104) and experience the same
issue on the Windows 2003 Terminal Server.
Because it's a Windows 2003 server it's entering "installation mode"
automatically as soon as you start a MSI-based setup program. Just to make sure
I retried going through "Control Panel --> Add/remove Programs --> Add nes
programs" and I experienced the same problem.
Note: it's a W2003 Service Pack 1, meaning that the MSI engine is V3.1
