I tried using a (downloaded) kit that works fine on Windows XP.
It was version 1.9m100.

Also I downloaded 1.9m104 and I experienced the same behavior...

On Windows 2003 the Terminal Server switched to installation mode
automatically when a MSI setup is invoked.
However I tried through "Control Panel *> Add/Remove Programs *>
Add Programs" too, but with same result :-(

What I can do if you want is to test the same kit on a Windows 2000
Terminal Server to make sure my kit is OK (from an MSI integrity point
of view).
And/or on a Windows 2003 without SP1...

Let me know!

Jacques

PS: putting OOo in a Terminal Server is a must for MSO-2-OOo migration
projects, enabling a smooth coexistance phase...
Also because OOo if "free" you can put it on a TS and immeiatly expose
it to many users.
Doing so with MS-Office requires you to buy as many MSO licenses as you
have TS-CAL enabled, even if you have only a handful of users using it
:-((

jsk->of: unfortunately i have no way of verifying this - we simply have
no
Windows 2003 Server :(
But there should not be any difference to Windows 2000, otherwise
almost no
other software would work anymore.

jsk->Jacques: Did you set the server to installation mode? Can you try
to verify
the integrity of the install-set? (Just download it again and retry?)

Thanks!
