I stand corrected.

Liz, this would change then to:

English: Sotho, Southern
 German: Sotho, Sdlich

or

English: Sesotho
 German: Sesothisch

English: Ndebele, South
 German: Ndebele, Sd

and of course

English: Swati
 German: Swazi

instead of Swati also in German..

I'm not sure about the "Southern" German terms though,
http://www.dosco.de/wiss-sprach-undlandercodes.htm lists "Sesothisch"
for Sotho South, but I also don't think that their "Swasilndisch" for
Swati and "Tsongaisch" for Tsonga would be more correct.. Btw, they name
Tswana "Sezuan".

http://smirnoff.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/bib/arbeitshilfen/hebis-handbuch/listen/kat1500_iso.pdf
says:

(tn) tsn: Tswana-Sprache
(ts) tso: Tsonga-Sprache
(ss) ssw: Swazi
(nr) nbl: Ndebele-Sprache (Sd)
(st) sot: Sd-Sotho-Sprache
     ven: Venda-Sprache

but these "-Sprache" suffixes don't really fit here, they append that to
several language names, it seems to all names where also the ethnic
group is called alike.
