2005 -------
I just re-opened this issue to explain some facts.
First of all, I had never used the function named "Printranges".
The original document was created on the version 1.1.4 (if I am not in mistake),
it was a .sxc document.
Upgraded OpenOffice to v2.Beta, (big mistake), then the problems with printing
started!
- Saved the file to the new format, .ods.
Upgraded to the last version, 1.9.109, saved the file, to see if the printing
problems were solved, ... but... , major problems appeared, once again.
Had about 5000 blanks sheets when previewing, had to make F1:IV65536 seletion
and then delete the selected columns, and A41:IV10000, to delete the rows, on
each sheet, due to the upgrading to the new format.
I guess it fills up cells with blanks or some non viewable cells formating.
(Wasted a few hours to detect the problem...)
So my main question is :
Where did the "Printranges" came from? Upgrading OpenOffice?
I never used them...
Anyway.. I find this new function "Printranges", in the v2.Beta, kinda
problematic!
Imagine, if you have 100 sheets, you have the "Printranges", defined in the
first 10 sheets, you cant print the remaining 90 sheets, unless you define
ranges in those 90 sheets.
Am I correct or not?
Regards,
Roberto
