I hope this ID, 5382, is the relevant one (seems it's been RESOLVED, but
perhaps not with Windows versions).

Just installed OO 1.9.113 but with difficulty.

1. With the regular beta updates I decided to change the installation directory
to a more generic one (i.e.: without incremental version numbers).

2. The change was from the default:

      C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 1.9.113
        to:
      C:\Program Files\OpenOffice 2ß

(Where 'ß' is Unicode letter 03B2, Greek small letter beta.)

3. The installation completed ok--'OpenOffice 2ß' seemingly contained all
program files, however, OO failed to run, the error msg was to the effect that
it cannot find files.

4. I uninstalled OO successfully. Even 'OpenOffice 2ß' directory was removed.

5. Reinstalled OO to default dir then the program worked normally.

6. Not tried this installation change with earlier Windows betas, hence no
knowledge of whether this bug is relevant to just this beta or not.

Rgds.
