------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jul 5 11:46:14 -0700 2005 ------- Have a spreadsheet with two different entries with the same basic name but each has a different number attached to the name. The names came from a word processor document in text format. Such as: "Rose Marie - S5107" and "Rose Marie -5107E" I was in the process of eliminating the "-" and the number from each successive entrie using CTRL+X. But when you highlight the "- S5107" on the first one and apply CTRL+X to it, instead of cutting it, it changes the entry to "- 5107E" !!! Control X seems to work fine except when there are successive entries with a common name....... --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
