------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 7 04:14:18 -0700 2005 ------- I will attach a simple spreadsheet that worked perfectly for my purposes using OOo 1.1.2 and earlier. It works not at all in 2.0 Beta. What used to work is that LOOKUP would start its search at the beginning of the range and, when the search value matched, would return the index value at that point. Now, it appears that LOOKUP just gets confused, returning sometimes the last column, sometimes no column at all. It is true that the LOOKUP function is documented to work only with sorted lists, but what, precisely does sorted mean? In the example I include, the list is as sorted as I can make it: one non-zero value, the rest of the values are zero, and LOOKUP cannot find a zero value!? For my purposes, the desirable functionality is to find the first match and return the corresponding value. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
