When checking the checkbox "automatic file extensions", saving in the choosen
fileformat will work without problems. When unchecking this checkbox, the
filename WITH extension is displayed in the field filename,... except, the user
has disabled the display of filename extensions in the Win UI. Anyhow,... a
warning is displayed to warn the user in cases a file with the same name does
exist ! But if a user ignores such a warning, so what ?
