I don't have Excel at my computer (just OOo;), si I can't check how does it
work, but:

1.- MSOffice WAS a great program, know I see I was wrong. OOo is much better in
losts of thigs (for example, schema menubar at Writer). So we don't need to be
exactly as MS was, we must be better. And I don't see the compatibility problem,
if we think Excel doesn't use addressing in a propper way, we just can be
carefull when converting an xls to an ods.

2.- I'm with regina, I've tried to remove sheet referece from conditional
formatting in the example I sent, and re-duplicated the sheet. The new sheet
(Sheet1_3) works as I expected. So the solution has two chapters; the first one
is removing sheet reference from conditional formatting when not needed (the
condition is inside the sheet), and the second one, paying attention to xls-ods
and viceversa conversions.

Hope this opinion I started will help to improve, and not to discuss.

Antonio (or lamberete).
