Hi,
we are not an Excel clone and we won't be one. Especially we don't want to
duplicate Excel faults. A text is a text and therefore you can't calculate with
it.
Never the less there is Issue 5658 which is under investigation to be included.
Regarding the debugging functionality we have a verry handy functionality called
'Value highlighting'. It could be reached by CTRL+F8 or View-Value Highlighting
.

Regarding your Document :
Select the lookup area (G2:H933) and select Default from the context menu.
Now the center option is switched off (you can just switch it on again) and the
numbers have an single quote in front of them indicating that they are text.
Open the Search and Replace dialog, search string is (without quotes) '.*',
replace string is '&' also without quotes. Tag regular expression and selection
only. Now replace all.
You have converted text numbers to values and the sheet will work as expected
without changing the formulas.
