The corresponding Solaris package is SUNWfreetype2 and is included in the GNOME
2.0 installation sets for Solaris 8 & 9, which is a 75 MB download.

The purpose of this issue is to discuss whether the SUNWfreetype2 package can
get co-packaged for OOo (as it is for StarOffice) or if it can be made a
prerequisite. Therefore it would be nice to have it downloadable seperatly from
GNOME.

Please remember to fix smoketestoo_native/smoketest.pl if SUNWfreetype2 gets
co-packaged:

<               delete $ENV{LD_LIBRARY_PATH};
---
> # make sure the office finds the libries in co-packages
>               $ENV{LD_LIBRARY_PATH} = "$installpath_without/usr/sfw/lib";
> #             delete $ENV{LD_LIBRARY_PATH};
