------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jul 19 07:23:42 -0700 2005 ------- Hi, I fail to delete a certain paragraph in one of my documents. I have stripped it down and will attach it to this report. Probably, I am just doing something wrong, but I still find it more than counterintuitive that none of the usual procedures for deleting such things seem to work. The paragraph is the last one on the first page. There is a non-printing, greyed out line above and below it (at least that is what I see here, might depend on configuration, it will not go away with Ctrl+F10, though). As for the subcomponent I have to guess. Why do you require this information when a normal user will more than often not know what the correct subcomponent will be? This is another case of what I reported in issue 42236. Do you really expect every newbie to understand the horrenduously complex structure of openoffice.org (code and organization)?
