------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 21 21:00:32 -0700 2005 ------- Hi, Once upon a time, I OCR'd a page into Word with a complicated table and it converted okay. In a table with many and varied rows and columns, the left-hand set of cells in one place has vertical text formatting set to bottom, where the rest of the cells are vertically formatted to top. The file was opened and used in OOO 1.1.4 where the problem existed. In 1.9 it exists too. In both cases, I can go back and change the vertical formatting manually, but it should work better in the future.
