The assertion happens because the document holder is notified about termination
before the component, that is owned by the document holder. Currently it is not
possible to influence the order of the notification so the assertion should be
just removed for now.
As for the very late death of the document holder objects, from the first view
it looks like the problem is that the holder is registered as terminate
listener, and that prevets it from being released before termination. The object
should deregister itself when the time to die has come.
