Please compare the settings in tools-options-draw-grid between the OOo-versions
and see if there is a difference.
If you have turned on a snap und you will temporary disable it, use the
shift-key.
The unit for movement with arrow-key is 1mm. On Windows you get a movement of 1
pixel (in any zoom!), if you combine the array-key with the alt-key, but I don't
no, which it is on linux.
Use a zoom of 400% or higher, to get a precise position with mouse and keyboard.
