THe thing inserted via Insert - Frame is indeed a frame that remains visible
around the text that you can enter, so that is something different. I also agree
with Regina that "text box" is a type of form control and is not the same as the
"T" on the drawing toolbar.

"Text object" is too technical and we need to get away from calling too many
things on the UI "objects" because it it not intuitive for end-users.

I think the Help tip "Text" over the "T" on the "Drawing"  toolbar is fine. It
is a guide to help the user know what they can do with that icon, not a full
explanation. Kind of an "Eselsbrücke".

Works for me.
