The results are: NORMAL ACTION Wipe (all directions) Random Bars " SLUGGISH ACTION Dissolve Uncover (all directions) Venetian Blinds " Cover " Comb " Diagonal Squares looked like normal with left-down, but with right-up, it was slower, even though fast was selected and applied. I did notice one other thing while this was happening the first time. I was running Totem-xine, and playing (listening) to a video. When I was using the dissolve, the audio for the playback skipped. Perhaps this is indicative of something. The desktop system has an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Plus based card, the laptop has ATI Radeon IGP.
