In OO 1.9.122: In both Impress and Writer:
Open up the Find & Replace dialog box. (control-f)
Type some characters in the "Search for" field.
Type control-a to select all the characters.
An "a" is entered in the box instead of selecting all the characters.
This is inconsistent behavior with control-a in almost every other data-entry
place.
This behavior occurs in Format Character/Hyperlink/{URL,Text,Name,...};
and in File/Properties/*/*
