I checked with 2.0 (1.9.m122) German version WIN XP: [680m122(Build8941)], WFM!
It takes something like 0,1 s to open the file :-)
Seems to be something with your special installation, pls. feel free to reopen
the issue if you find out that it is a matter of general concern.
