I can confirm this issue on OOo m122, Mysql 4.1.11 and MyODBC 3.51.11-2

If you select the value of a decimal column in the mysql table and press Ctrl-C
and then Ctrl-V into the spreadsheet, the value appears correctly and unaltered
(Format Number Standard).

If you select the value from the mysql table and then DnD it onto the
spreadsheet the value receives the currency attribute # ##0,00 [$€-40C];[RED]-#
##0,00 [$€-40C]
