This seems to be associated with my preregister java components error building
instsetoo_native in GNU/Linux sparc debian/unstable gcj4/gij4 without any
java-gcj-compat.

The java.home system property returns
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ java GetJVMInfo
java.version= 1.4.2
java.vendor=  Free Software Foundation, Inc.
java.home=    /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.4.2-gcj-4.0-1.4.2.0/jre

So i put a link from jre to /usr which seems to work and a few java components
are preregistered 9see log attached) but then it fails at this assertion (built
jvmfwk with debug=t)

Error: File /home/jim/ooo680/jvmfwk/plugins/sunmajor/pluginlib/vendorbase.cxx,
Line 300
