2005 -------
1. Choose file-new-database
2. in the appearing dialog mark connext to an existing database
3. choose "Text" in the dropdown list
4. press next
5. provide a valid path for the datasource
6. choose "custom" as type you want to access
7. write *.abc in the edit field
8. press "Next"

=> a message box appears sting that wildcoard aren't allowed in file extensions,
eventhough the sample behind the "custom-editfield" suggests that they have to
be used.
