------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Aug 23 06:43:04 -0700 2005 ------- I cannot reproduce it either now :-( Tested platforms: - m124, selfcompiled, Linux - m122, standard packages, Windows It used to happen when you removed the odb file, then tried for example the "View => Show data source" menu, then explored the (missing) data source. Now a clean a frendly message stating that the database file does not exist appears. It does not crash anymore. I used to have a lot of problems because I was mixing selfcompiled code with Sun's packages. Now I either have only self-compiled code OR Sun packages, but I don't mix both anymore. I suppose it was one of the effects of working that way... Sorry for the time I made you waste :-(.
