2005 -------
I checked with 2.0 (1.9.m122) German version WIN XP: [680m122(Build8941)] and
had to learn that there seem to be differences in format interpretation between
1.1.4 and 2.0 concerning "Indents Spacing",
Pls. use following text to reproduce the problem:
This is some text
Here listing begins
and continues
And here normal text continues
Steps to reproduce:
0. Start OOo 1.1.4
1. open new text document
2. copy - paste text from above
3. mark lines 2,3
4. press "List" button to change format to "listing with bullets"
Now you se listing with bullets
5. Leave lines 2,3 marked and change format with
Menu: "Format - Paragraph - Indents and Spacing - Before Text = 4cm /
First line = -4cm" <ok>
actual: paragraph with 2 listing lines moves some cm to the right.
That's only to demonstrate behaviour in 1.1.4
Now the same with 2.0:
Steps to reproduce:
10. Start OOo 680m122
11. open new text document
12. copy - paste text from above
13. mark lines 2,3
14. press "List" button to change format to "listing with bullets"
Now you se listing with bullets
5. Leave lines 2,3 marked and change format with
Menu: "Format - Paragraph - Indents and Spacing - Before Text = 4cm /
First line = -4cm" <ok>
expected: paragraph with 2 listing lines moves some cm to the right.
actual: nothing
That causes big problems to use documents created with 1.1 in 2.0:
Funny thing: When you open the old .sxw documents in 2.0, all seems to be fine,
but if you copy paste paragraphs with "Indents and Spacing" in listings to
another document, the format is destroyed, as yo can see in attached
screenshots. For those screenshots I copied some text to a new document in 1.1.4
and also 2.0 with different results.
