2005 -------
I have 1.9.m47 1.1.0 installed, but cannot install 2.0 beta 2.
The requirements URL specifies:
Linux:

* Linux kernel version 2.2.13 or higher, glibc2 version 2.2.0 or higher
I have:

# rpm -qa | grep glibc
glibc-2.2.4-33
glibc-common-2.2.4-33
glibc-devel-2.2.4-33
glibc-profile-2.2.4-33
compat-glibc-6.2-2.1.3.2
# uname -a
Linux posh.localdomain 2.4.28 #2 Wed Jan 5 15:35:37 EST 2005 i686 unknown
unknown GNU/Linux

My system is basically a heavily updated RH 7.2. But the new RPM based
system won't install:

# rpm -i *.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        libgnomevfs-2.so.0 is needed by
openoffice.org-gnome-integration-1.9.125-1
        libgconf-2.so.4 is needed by openoffice.org-gnome-integration-1.9.125-1
