I read you explanation why this behaviour shouldn't be considered an error....
..
you say that "there are no formatting set in the first line"... sorry but THERE
ARE formatting set... they are the default one ("normal" in Ms Word)
when in microsoft Word you select a "normal" formatting with the format
paintbrush, that formatting style (altought it is the "normal" one) will be
carried by the brush on anythinghyou are going to drop it...
the user of a WYSIWYG program shoudn't check which is the formatting style under
is mouse.... he simply choose one and drag it onto another one whith the
brush....
if you do not want this issue be classified as a DEFECT, please transform it as
a request of feature...
consider that the tools we are "cloning" is the Ms format paintbrush, and that
the normal behaviour is the one I have described to you.
The Normal/default formatting style is just a particular formatting style, and
so it should be processed as all the the others by the format paintbrush.
