Thanks, I agree with "frustrating user interface". But, 

1. If I select entire row with one click, the Auto Filter will be created for
   all columns.

   If I select any colimn (ex B*)and go (Data->Filter->AutoFilter)
   the filter disappeared for all empty (no data entered) columns.

   If go again (Data->Filter->AutoFilter), no selection changed,
   the filter disappeared for the rest of columns.

2. TEST ISING THE FILE ATTACHED BY YOU:
   I select entire row with one click, the Auto Filter will be created for
   all columns.

   If I select any colimn (ex B*)and go (Data->Filter->AutoFilter)
   the filter disappeared for all columns with data (A2:E2).

   To remove filter from the rest of table, I have to select entire row
   again, and click twice (Data->Filter->AutoFilter)
