As for the mentioned corruption problem, I can not reproduce it in OOo 1.9.124.
If there is still a way to reproduce it on this or later version please submit a
new issue to me with a detailed scenario. So now this bug is only about empty
replacement image thus I change the summary.
The empty replacement image seems to be calc filter problem. The implementation
uses replacement graphics provided from the filter in the call to
"SvxMSDffManager::CreateSdrOLEFromStorage()" method.
