------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Sep 10 20:35:02 -0700 2005 ------- (Mike Lanni, 9/10/2005)I am running OpenOffice.org 1.9.125 under Windows XP Professional on a Pentium 4 Dell Dimension with 512 megs of ram. I can confirm that .JPG images inserted into Writer on my system then exported as HTML are indeed resized. The image I used for the test was an image for a flyer (handout) I had made in Photoshop, sized 1275 x 1650 pixels. I inserted the picture (Insert, Picture, From File) in Writer, then saved it as an HTML file (File, Save As, HTML Document). I then opened FireFox and loaded the HTML file I had just saved. I right clicked on the image and checked the properties. The images’ new dimensions were 665px by 860px. This is coded in with HTML, the image file itself was not modified. The change in image size could be very important to web developers who count on images to line up properly on a menu or layout, or count on their size for any other formatting reasons. The priority on this one is minor overall since it does not cause the program to crash, and it doesn’t even overwrite your .JPG file, but it should be taken into serious account if anyone plans on using this software for affordable web development. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
