------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Sep 11 07:08:51 -0700 2005 ------- (Justin Kelley 9/11/2005) My specs are as follows: - OO 2.0 Beta - Dell Dimension XPS PC - Windows XP Professional SP2 - Pentium 4 3.8 GHz Processor - 2.0 GB DDR RAM I opened up the attached odb file and double-clicked to OLE Object, which in turn accessed my Acrobat Reader (Version 7.0.1) and attempted to open the associated pdf. That is where my attempted replication failed due to not having the exact pdf in question (it is possible the pdf they used was corrupt). However, I was able to create a NEW odb file and successfully embedded a pdf OLE Object without hanging. I repeated this same test in an EXISTING odb file much larger in size and still no issues. The pdf opened right up. I would place high importance on this issue considering Adobe pdf's are very pervasive. It is expected that most consumer software applications these days have the ability to deal with pdf documents. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
