I wasn't ranting, and I wasn't having a hissy fit. SiegeLord originally
said he could be swayed to include them. Since I find them useful that
is at least one person who would benefit from it. Why do we want Allegro
to be more complicated to use than it should be? There's nothing wrong
with convenience functions, especially when they make things
<i>convenient</i>. Maybe you consider it bloat, but I would consider it
useful. These functions would have been useful in texturing objects in
an OpenGL demo. Just because you wouldn't use them doesn't mean nobody
would.
