CWS 'kendy11' improves export of Calc sheets to HTML a lot by using
styles for the resulting tables. Until now, the look of the tables
were just approximated which led to to wrong results in more
complicated (=common) tables.
With 'kendy11', using styles allows more than the previous code; most
important is exporting thickness and color of the borders of the
cells. This is done individually for each and every cell which allows
a lot of flexibility, and improves quality of the exported sheets.
To test:
- select some cells in a spreadsheet
- choose borders you like from the 'Borders' tool button
- change other border attributes by by rightclick -> Format Cells...
-> Borders (eg. thickness & color)
- export to HTML by File -> Save As... (choose 'HTML Document
(OpenOffice.org Calc) (.html)' as a File type)
- have a look at the resulting spreadsheet in a web broser
