In the past the UnoAPI-Tests (checkapi -o ...) used a socket
connection at port 8100 as default. This has changed to named pipes
where the pipe name equals the user name.
Please start you office as the following:
./soffice -accept=pipe,name=$USER\;urp\; # Unix
soffice -accept=pipemname=%USERNAME%;urp; # Windows
