Any such benchmark/codesize information you have could be posted on the core WG wiki https://wiki.allseenalliance.org/core/overview
Also there is some information about TC porting in these presentations: http://events.linuxfoundation.org/sites/events/files/slides/AllJoynThinLibraryTargetPorting_PeterKrystad_MathewMartineau.pdf http://events.linuxfoundation.org/sites/events/files/slides/Cryptography-in-AllJoyn-gregz-2015-Summit%20-%20Copy.pdf It would be nice if such information were written up in a porting guide, but no one has volunteered to write it. It would mean a lot, if member companies and community share their experience regarding to the size of compiled AJTCL and BASE_TCL. Since the purpose of the thin core is to run on constrained environments, the size of the compiled library becomes a bottleneck point. We have 1Mbyte of flash on our platform (WICED WiFi Module running on FreeRTOS) and we are trying to port the AJTCL & BASE_TCL with some other embedded applications. Perhaps it would be helpful if the community starts a porting guide with a matrix that includes the compiled binaries and the specifications of the target platform. Best. There are probably member companies that have measured it on various platforms, but I’m not aware of anything public and they don’t seem to be chiming in. Is the 25Kbytes referring to RAM or flash? The codesize is definitely more than 25Kbytes, but the RAM usage might be under 25k. At the documentation page it says that the AJTCL library can run 25Kbytes of memory. But when I build the library, I noticed that it is much more bigger than 23Kbytes. What is the footprint of AJTCL? And what is the footprint of Base_TCL? Best -- Fatih AKSEL Onbiron Yazılım Bilişim Teknolojileri AR-GE Ltd. Şti.
