In principle, we've not run into limits in the number of objects or complexity based on the capabilities of the Control Panel Service. The practical situation however can be a problem in the responsiveness of user experience applications interacting with the device using it. This since introspection the first time an app opens its (each time the app is loaded), could end up taking a few seconds. In typical cases this is normally under 1 second, and once loaded the first time it is always fast. This delay needed to introspect is one of the main reasons that complicated interfaces are better done with a standard framework, such as LSF or HAE.
