Hi Josh, We asked for a feature branch because we wanted to provide work so far - and admittedly wasn't aware of documentation on the process. We also weren't sure if the Core team was going to release an OpenWRT feed that depended on Base Services. If that is indeed the case, you'd be right in saying we'll need to ensure the Core OpenWRT feed works with the final Base release. For now, I'll rebase the feature branch with more granular commits on top of 16.04-review. Then perhaps you could cherry pick anything that makes sense?
