(sent on behalf of the Apache Allura Podling: http://incubator.apache.org/projects/allura.html <http://s.apache.org/PI0> )
* Devroom name: Apache Allura * Description Apache Allura, formerly known as Allura, is the forge platform backing SourceForge and other forges around the world. The project, has been incubated at the Apache Software Foundation since June 2012. While the podling is still in its early stage, new developers have joined our mailing-list and start working on new features and ideas. * Project URLs - http://incubator.apache.org/allura/ * Why should FOSDEM accept this proposal? The Apache Allura podling is already attracting new volunteers and is able to successfully engage them. Recent contributions, like the work-in-progress integration with the software metrics tools created by Bitergia, will allow both people from academia and new developers with the possibility to face interesting challenges, and there are also tasks available for non-developers (docs, etc). An Apache Allura devroom would allow existing volunteers to meet anddiscuss future developments, and users and potential new volunteers to learn how they can help the project, thanks to presentations and hacking sessions spanning a broad range of topics.
