Note: Silenes and gentians in the limestone detritus. One hundred percent totally cool. I always wanted whitish limestone for the rock gardens here (instead of pea gravel and rocks I dragged from the side of the road), but, with the intensity of sunlight here, it would be so bright no one could look at it. I imagine it's hard on the eyes in the Dolomites, too.
