I shan't be back to work til mid march...and its rather boring, with some
snow on the ground, temps in the 40's day and teens to the nights. I'm
researching alpine plants as I've a area to this new house of large boulders
along the driveway that I'm thinking about turning into an alpine like
area....starting with native Primulas...I'd like all natives if possible but
being a plant geek , I know I shall stray to any alpine I can get.....

Subject: [Alpine-l] An antidote to winter? Cross posted to PBS and SRGC
There is a chance we'll have some snow here in the greater Washington, D.C.
area tonight or tomorrow. This will be one of the few tastes of winter we've
had this year. Our winter seems to be vacationing in Europe this year. Here's
something to help brighten things up a bit for those of you still in the
clutches of the cold. This is a very brief video I put together last April
