I just recently received a few seed of Aquilegia nivalis. Does anyone have any experience / advice in germinating that seed. Thank you.
Seeds of almost all species of Aquilegia respond to stratification for 1-3 months at 4C, followed by fairly quick germination at ca. 20C. Alternatively, seeds can be sown outdoors in pots, now, for germination in spring, though with some species this can take two winters. Bob Nold Denver, Colorado, USA
